Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team at Smart Foodservice Stores LLC. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure that products are properly labeled and displayed.
  • Assist with receiving inventory shipments, counting stock, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, ensuring that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
  • Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency utilizing general office equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a retail store setting, open to the public. Exposure to outside weather conditions, including inclement weather. Moderate noise level. Work is typically performed on a level surface, but may require use of a ladder or working on an elevated surface as needed. Temperature varies throughout the store, ranging from -10 to 85 degrees.
