Clinical Allergy Specialist Floater

A Clinical Allergy Specialist Floater plays a vital role in managing the day-to-day operations of United Allergy Services allergy centers, administering allergy tests, educating patients on allergen immunotherapy, and providing patient-centered care to those in need.
This Clinical Allergy Specialist performs clinical and administrative responsibilities in a medical provider's office, working directly under the supervision of a physician.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of allergens, the allergic response, and UAS clinical protocols.
Responsible for safe and effective immunotherapy processes, including the administration of quality allergy testing and the formulation and preparation of allergy immunotherapy.
Ensures patient progress by following up with patients and ensuring timely pick-up of immunotherapy.Completes all necessary paperwork and verifies insurance eligibility for each patient.
Administers patient scheduling through various channels, including in-person, phone, or UAS centralized scheduling protocols.
Responsible for handling and submitting billing documentation to the appropriate office via applicable EMR systems or otherwise.
Responsible for maintaining and securing clinic inventory levels, ensuring timely ordering and receipt of supplies.Develops and maintains effective, professional relationships with providers and medical office staff.
Escalates patient or other questions to the appropriate team member or provider in a timely manner.
Responsible for meeting strategic goals and objectives of the clinic and company related to assigned clinic productivity and revenue.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in health sciences or business is preferred.
A minimum of two years of full-time equivalent work experience in a healthcare, hospital, customer service, retail, or similar industry.
Ability to travel extensively for multiple days and/or nights within the local or surrounding area and other clinic or business locations as needed.
Travel may be up to 75-100%Nursing or other medical technician certification(s) as required by state or local regulations for the clinic area (NY, NJ, and CT, unless otherwise required).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure suitable results.Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
If the role requires bilingual abilities, must be able to fluently and correctly communicate and translate messages verbally and in writing in the required language.
Experience with Salesforce, Workday, and SharePoint will improve success.Benefits:
