Hardware Development Specialist

Job Summary:
Manpower Group Inc. is seeking a skilled Hardware Development Specialist to support the testing and development of computer-related equipment for datacenter applications. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing tests on datacenter computer and power hardware, assembling and modifying existing pieces of equipment to meet special needs, and building, testing, and modifying product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with computer simulation.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute tests on datacenter computer and power hardware
Assemble and modify existing pieces of equipment to meet special needs
Build, test, and modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with computer simulation
Monitor functioning of equipment and make necessary modifications to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications
Confer with engineering staff and consult specifications to evaluate interface between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements of overall system
Requirements:
5-7 years of Lab Technician experience
5-7 years of Hardware/Datacenter experience
5-7 years of assembling hardware and soldering hardware
Lab equipment proficiency - know how to use all power lab equipment with minimal to no supervision including (but not limited to): oscilloscopes, DMMs, DC loads, AC sources, logic probes, power analyzers, and serial analyzers (e.g. Aardvark, Beagle)
Background in either power and/or embedded systems with experience debugging hardware and firmware
Familiar with serial protocols including I2C, UART, and SPI
