Data Center Hardware Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Hardware Specialist to join our team at Randstad Digital. As a Data Center Hardware Specialist, you will be responsible for executing tests on data center compute and cooling hardware, assembling and modifying existing pieces of equipment to meet special needs, and building, testing, and modifying product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with computer simulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tests on data center compute and cooling hardware.
  • Assemble and modify existing pieces of equipment to meet special needs.
  • Build, test, and modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with computer simulation.
  • Monitor functioning of equipment and make necessary modifications to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications.
  • Confer with engineering staff and consult specifications to evaluate interface between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements of overall system.
  • Provide training and support to system designers and users.

Requirements:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 7 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors
