Job Summary

The Analyst, East KD Operation position is responsible for providing and monitoring customer service for inbound/outbound traffic regarding transportation of auto parts for US manufacturing plants. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor ocean inbound container moves from the container origin and handle any issues prior to port of arrival.
  • Prepare all required documentation to meet required delivery dates and set up based on new/existing customers' needs.
  • Coordinate with customers with inquiries and support daily inquiries.
  • Manage demurrage/detention/chassis charge to minimize costs for customers and notify customers in advance for containers that may occur any charges.
  • Monitor urgent container moves, including late gate, weekend gate open at port, and arrange with trucking companies to ensure container deliveries to customer warehouses.
  • Report statistical container moves to the manager and provide container inbound movement reports to upper management in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • One year of related work experience required.
  • Three years of related work experience in freight forwarding, logistics, and/or supply chain management preferred.
