Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examinations, tests, and treatments by explaining procedures and assisting with procedures as ordered by the provider.
  • Measure and record vital signs, complete patient interviews and histories, and set up equipment for medical treatment rooms.
  • Collect samples from patients and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
  • Assist with administrative and clerical duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent, and a certificate or diploma from a Medical Assisting Program.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge: Medical terminology, computer skills, and HIPAA compliance.
