About the Role

The Waldinger Corporation, a leading Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Sheet Metal industry company, is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Human Resources Information Systems Analyst to enhance the performance of our HR technologies and platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • HRIS Process Improvement: Lead implementations, optimize performance, gather data, provide solutions, and analyze impact based on agreed-to metrics.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Build productive relationships with HR team, IT, and key business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system and reporting requirements that improve business process.
  • System Configuration and Implementation: Configure and implement system upgrades and enhancements, lead testing and data validation, and ensure that overall system performance is aligned with business objectives.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Partner with IT to troubleshoot, analyze, detect, and identify root causes and resolve technical problems and deficiencies.
  • User Training and Support: Ensure that users and the HR team are properly trained, and that there is adequate documentation of processes and procedures.
  • Process Development and Optimization: Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
  • HRIS Process Audits: Perform audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination, and payroll administration, when required.
  • Technology Advancements and Trends: Keep track of advancements and trends and participate in discussions on future use of technology and business process improvements.
  • System Expertise: Act as an expert and internal resource on system capability and functionality.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, HR management, business administration, or similar.
  • Experience with Workday is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience as an HRIS analyst in a related industry.
  • Exceptional ability to gather and interpret data, as well as improve HRIS processes.
  • Ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff.
  • Experience in documenting processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of user design principles.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Substantial knowledge of HR, HR systems, HR processes, and their integration with technology.
