Technician Mental Health Support

About the Role:
This position provides critical support to mental health technicians, ensuring effective care delivery to residents at Nexus Health Systems Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in direct patient care, prioritizing tasks and allocating responsibilities to ensure efficient care delivery.
- Support patients with daily living activities, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to promote resident engagement and participation in milieu activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
Position Qualifications:
- A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related social service field (preferred).
- Experience in residential care or mental health treatment (preferred).
Licenses/Certifications:
- SAMA or other Nexus-approved non-aggressive behavior intervention certification.
- Current tuberculosis test within the first 14 days of employment and annually thereafter.
