Job Summary

CentraCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN or Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered care team. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the day-to-day activities of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Rooming: Deliver patient-focused rooming for various types of clinic visits, ensuring a positive and respectful experience for all patients.
  • Communication: Communicate results and other relevant medical information to patients and providers, promoting effective collaboration and care coordination.
  • Operational Support: Ensure the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed efficiently and on time, maintaining a high level of productivity and organization.
Work Schedule
  • Full-Time Position: Working 64 hours every two weeks, with four days per week, and on-site.
  • Shift Hours: Daytime shifts between the hours of 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $19.66 or more per hour for LPNs and $18.62 or more per hour for Medical Assistants, with pay determined by experience.
  • Hiring Bonus: $2,500 (LPN) or $2,000 (MA) hiring bonus, and a $5,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates.

QualificationsLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required.
  • Certifications: Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders, and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
Medical Assistant
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Certifications: Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA), or Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA).
  • Certification Verification: Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.
  • Certifications: Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders, and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
