Recovery Community Manager

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Volunteer Manager to join our team at the Waterbury Recovery Community Center. As a Volunteer Manager, you will be responsible for implementing our Volunteer Management System, which includes recruitment, retention, training, evaluation, and recognition of volunteers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with people in recovery and possess excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the Waterbury Recovery Community Center Volunteers, including scheduling, supervision, evaluation, retention, and record-keeping.
- Facilitate all volunteer trainings related to orientation, volunteer roles, and ongoing volunteer development.
- Provide individual support, system navigation, resources, referrals, answer phone calls, and handle requests for assistance.
- Assist with daily activities and special events related to volunteers.
- Maintain a recovery-focused culture and promote the message and services of CCAR.
- Promote recovery support services in the local community.
