Salary: $15,000 SIGN ON BONUS

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at ECHN. As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating patient functionality and implementing effective treatment plans to improve or restore their physical capabilities.

Job Description:

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Evaluating patients in accordance with departmental standards and modifying evaluations based on patients' symptoms, activity levels, and medical histories.
  2. Administering appropriate therapeutic exercises to improve strength, endurance, coordination, and range of motion, as well as applying physical agents and manual techniques to alleviate pain and reach established treatment goals.
  3. Educating patients and their families on home exercise programs and functional activities to promote independence, while assessing when a patient has maximized treatment benefits and recommending discharge as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S.
  • Current Connecticut Physical Therapy license is mandatory.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, and proficient personal computer skills, especially in Windows-based applications.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary for travel between different work sites.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per year.
