Porter Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Management: Safely transport vehicles within the dealership, including to and from service areas, parking lots, and wash stations.
- Lot Maintenance: Ensure the service lot is organized and clean, with all vehicles parked in designated locations.
- Support Services: Assist service advisors with vehicle check-in/check-out processes and help organize loaner vehicles.
- Perform additional tasks to support the dealership's daily operations, including running errands and assisting with service.
- Phone Management: Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and conduct outgoing calls to generate service and sales leads.
- Customer Reception: Greet customers upon arrival for service appointments, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Appointment Management: Assist customers in scheduling service appointments, confirming details, and addressing inquiries about available services.
- Communication: Keep customers updated on the status of their vehicles during service, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Information Support: Provide general information about dealership services and direct customers to the appropriate department or team member.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in customer service or automotive roles is advantageous.
- Ability to operate various vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and services is preferred.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to stand, walk, and maneuver vehicles for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed.
