Job Summary

HCLTech is seeking a skilled Validation Engineer - Powertrain Controls Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and validating powertrain control features through simulation, lab, and machine development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Powertrain Controls Requirements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop powertrain controls requirements based on machine level performance and functional requirements.
  • Model-Based Controls Development: Develop leverageable control features for various electromechanical system architectures using model-based controls development tools.
  • Virtual Product Development: Utilize virtual product development for control system functional testing, powertrain optimization, and performance verification.
  • Lab and Machine Development: Develop and validate powertrain control features through simulation, lab, and machine development utilizing CAN and ethernet based development tools.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Equivalent Engineering.
  • Experience: 3 years of engineering work experience with a focus on electromechanical, transmission, hybrid, or powertrain controls.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with model-based controls development using Matlab Simulink and Stateflow, virtual product development, control software development tools and processes, and CAN development tools: Vector CANape, CANalyzer.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong technical leadership skills, and excellent communication skills.
