Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Community Intern to join our team at Cardinal Group Companies. As a Leasing Community Intern, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our leasing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service to residents, prospective residents, and team members, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, including front desk duties, lease applications, and lease file paperwork.
  • Leasing Support: Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training and utilize the Cardinal Way of Leasing by warmly greeting prospective clients, answering leasing calls, determining needs and preferences, and professionally presenting the community and apartment homes.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on current market conditions and trends, shopping competition, and attending Cardinal trainings to maintain expertise.
  • Community Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression of the community.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and vendors, and participate in and assist with planning community events.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 credit hours at an accredited college or university.
  • Qualifications: Must be enrolled in a degree program, maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, and be a current or future leaseholder of the community.
  • Availability: Available to work approximately 20 hours per week, evenings, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Assistant: Previous experience as an assistant, administrative assistant, receptionist, leasing consultant, real estate assistant, or leasing professional.
