Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automated Test Engineer to enhance our quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in developing and maintaining automated regression tests, particularly utilizing Dynatrace for both browser monitoring and HTTP synthetic scripts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage automated regression tests with a primary focus on Dynatrace synthetic testing.
  • Transform user stories or system requirements into effective automated regression tests.
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Quickly adapt to new technologies and off-the-shelf software.
  • Prioritize tasks and responsibilities efficiently.
  • Provide and accept constructive feedback to foster a positive team environment.
  • Contribute to process enhancements and introduce innovative ideas.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value regression tests for automation.
Required Skills:
  • A minimum of five years of experience with Dynatrace synthetics in a managed environment.
  • Proficiency in writing HTML and browser-based Dynatrace tests.
  • Experience with pre and post-script execution in Dynatrace synthetics.
  • Familiarity with HTTP scripts that include a complete request body.
  • Ability to create Dynatrace dashboards and technical/non-technical visualizations using Dynatrace Query Language.
  • Experience with the Dynatrace environment API, particularly the synthetics and event APIs.
  • Capability to create and maintain batch files.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Understanding of troubleshooting common development challenges.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Azure DevOps pipeline and release management.
  • Familiarity with SOAP and REST APIs and their associated testing tools.
Essential Skills and Experience:

10 years of experience in:

  • Manual and Automated Testing, including Test Script/Test Case creation and Test Data Management. The role will involve a balanced focus on both Manual and Automated testing, with experience in data-driven testing and integration of automated test scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
