Position Overview:

This position directly supports the CEO of the Regulated Utility Business, collaborating closely with the Utility CEO and Executive Team to enhance their effectiveness in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. The role is designed to be a supportive partner to senior leaders, including presidents and vice presidents, focusing on facilitating communication, problem-solving, and innovation while driving processes and aiding decision-making. The successful candidate will play a crucial, behind-the-scenes role, earning the trust of all stakeholders. Responsibilities include strategic thinking, developing essential processes, analyzing data, and crafting impactful presentations and business review materials across various functions. The primary goal is to amplify the Executive Team's effectiveness while managing ad hoc processes and strategic initiatives as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between the Utility Executive Team and employees or other stakeholders, managing communication flow and meeting schedules.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to department leaders to enhance teamwork and collaboration.
  • Organize and maintain focus during meetings to ensure objectives are met.
  • Oversee the planning and content management of monthly Executive Committee meetings and subcommittees.
  • Facilitate strategic planning meetings to foster collaboration among executive-level personnel.
  • Monitor and manage communications directed to and from the CEO.
  • Keep executives informed about company initiatives and pertinent issues.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Executive Team to set strategic priorities and streamline workflows.
  • Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the CEO and Executive Team.
  • Prepare the CEO for significant internal and external engagements.
  • Drive project organization and activities to align with company goals on behalf of the CEO and Executive Team.
  • Manage strategic initiatives and processes as needed for the CEO and Executive Team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline; a Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy, business operations, or a related field, with a preference for backgrounds in consulting or business analysis.
  • Demonstrated success in leading projects and managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment.
  • Experience in an educational setting may be considered.
