Job Summary

The Sales and Marketing Strategist will play a vital role in developing and executing a strategy to sell Miele luxury products. This individual will be responsible for informing, inspiring, educating, and engaging Authorized Dealers, prospects, and industry professionals through unique sales, marketing, and training programs to achieve annual sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present to C-Level Executives at Developer, Architectural Firms, and the Design Community
  • Focus on sales budgets, new business development, and maintaining customer relationships
  • Dedicate to establishing new retail customers, key developers, general contractors, and architects who can purchase and promote Miele products
  • Manage existing dealers to use sales tools and programs to increase sales volumes in the assigned territory
  • Create monthly business review meetings with key business partners to ensure they are on track to hit mutually agreed-upon goals
  • Increase branding through consistent territory marketing and dealer displays
  • Maintain brand display excellence
  • Contact existing customers to inform, train, and educate them on new and current Miele products and related accessories
  • Participate in trade shows, sales promotions, and dealer promotions to foster customer relations
  • Support and implement marketing plans, promotions, and new product launches
  • Prospect and interact with key decision-makers, including architects, designers, and developers, to develop long-term partnerships for sales of multi-unit project opportunities

Requirements

  • Five years' experience in outside sales of luxury brands preferred
  • High School or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience preferred
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM a plus
  • Organizational and leadership ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated presentation and problem-resolution skills
  • Ability to accommodate a minimum of 4 nights per week of overnight travel
  • Valid Driver's License
