Position Overview:

The Solutions Group Inc. is in search of an exceptional leader to join our team as the Operations Excellence Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for enhancing operational performance while elevating the customer journey. Your focus will be on spearheading process enhancement initiatives, guiding and nurturing your team, and providing innovative insights to boost productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage daily operations to ensure effective task execution and departmental productivity.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure seamless coordination among production, inventory control, and distribution, maximizing resource utilization.
  • Lead and cultivate a high-achieving team, promoting a collaborative and results-oriented workplace.
  • Monitor budgetary expenditures and implement cost-reduction strategies without sacrificing quality.
  • Evaluate current production methodologies and pinpoint opportunities for optimization. Apply lean principles and other innovative strategies to refine workflows and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Establish and supervise quality assurance protocols to guarantee that products meet or surpass industry benchmarks.
  • Partner with senior management to outline long-term operational objectives and align production with procurement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and ethical practices across all operations.
  • Leverage data analytics to inform decision-making, track essential performance metrics, and produce regular performance summaries for senior management.
  • Identify operational vulnerabilities and formulate risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with external partners, vendors, and suppliers to ensure efficient supply chain management and superior service delivery.
  • Conduct ongoing process evaluations to discover avenues for productivity and quality enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in an Operations role with a proven track record of effective team leadership.
  • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal abilities when engaging with all organizational levels, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
  • Strong foundation in business operations, performance metrics, and financial oversight.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Highly skilled in data analysis, reporting, and utilizing insights to guide decision-making.
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal, capable of presenting complex information in an accessible manner to diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in utilizing project management tools and operational software.
  • Experience with Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks.
