Job Title: Recreation Therapist

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a Recreation Therapist to join our team in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Recreation Therapist to work with our patients in a variety of settings. The successful candidate will have a strong background in therapeutic recreation and be able to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of needs and abilities.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and abilities.
  • Provide therapeutic recreation services to patients, including leisure education, adaptive recreation, and recreational activities.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field.
  • Certification-eligible by the Consortium for Therapeutic Recreation/Activity Certification (CTRS) or National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC).
  • 1 year of experience in recreation therapy or a related field.
