About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled PC Technical Support professional to join our team at TEKsystems. As a PC Technical Support specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting a variety of issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to clients via ServiceNow, troubleshooting issues with network connectivity, blue screen of death, applications not showing up on a device, printers not working, imaging devices, e-recycling equipment, installing monitors, Zebra printer issues, and building machines.
* Work with our team to upgrade 15,000 endpoints, including migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and eventually transitioning to virtual desktops in the future.
* Collaborate with our IT team to develop and implement standardized processes for imaging devices, using SCCM to update and fully build devices.
* Possess skills in updating devices or migrating from Windows 7 to 10, with a nice-to-have ability to work with Active Directory, group policy, and Windows 11 operating system.
Requirements:
* 1-2 years of experience in PC technical support, desktop support, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of Windows 10, networking protocols, and customer service principles.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
