Support Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team at RHA Health Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to individuals with mental health or substance abuse issues in various settings, including clinics, residential, schools, workplaces, and communities.
- Implement and monitor Person-Centered Plans in conjunction with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Facilitate relationships between the company, parents, guardians, local agencies, and the community.
- Support clients in developing various skill-building activities, including daily and community living skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, and behavior and anger management.
- Work closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardizing procedures and expediting PCP implementation.
- Monitor utilization of service to ensure it is effective, appropriate, and within the limits set forth in both rules, PCP, and the service authorization.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year documented experience with the population to be served or with the type of service being provided.
- Valid driver's license and automotive insurance required.
- OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities clearance.
- Drug testing.
- Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
