Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist is a key member of our radiology team, responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment and performing examinations to provide accurate and timely results. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities:
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, and MRI machines
- Perform examinations and procedures to obtain high-quality images
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Current ARRT (R) registry or certification required
- 1-2 years of experience in a radiology or imaging setting preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
