Role Summary:

We are seeking a Project Lead to oversee the Hacking for Defense (H4D) Program. This role is crucial in guiding student teams as they work on national security challenges for the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. As a Project Lead, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of the program, ensuring that customer objectives are met through effective project execution and strategic support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with Department of Defense entities utilizing H4D for innovation.
  • Facilitate H4X workshops, ensuring adherence to established methodologies.
    • Act as the main contact for coordinating industry engagements.
    • Lead discussions and meetings with stakeholders as required.
    • Complete necessary documentation, including reports and cost projections.
  • Oversee team workload and delegate tasks to ensure timely project completion.
    • Review team outputs for quality and completeness before submission.
    • Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to team members.
    • Assist in organizing workshops and events.
  • Contribute to proposal writing and documentation related to business development.
  • Ensure the successful execution of contract deliverables, understanding the program's objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of BMNT's offerings and methodologies.
    • Communicate how our services meet client needs.
    • Suggest improvements to existing products and services.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and maintain expertise in relevant areas.
  • Exemplify the behaviors expected of a successful contributor at BMNT.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in consulting or project management, or 2+ years as a Senior Program Analyst at BMNT.
  • Familiarity with innovation methodologies such as Lean Startup, Agile, and Design Thinking is preferred.
  • Expertise in military, government, or emerging technology sectors.
  • Strong multitasking abilities while delivering high-quality work.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Emotional intelligence and effective communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a focus on achieving results.
  • Adaptable and positive in the face of challenges.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
