About the Role

The Department of Corrections Executive Leadership is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Program Supervisor to join our team. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and financial management skills to oversee the Business Office and Stores staff, as well as multiple financial programs, funding sources, and cost allocation patterns for an institution with an operating budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement budgets, maintain accounting systems, and oversee purchasing functions, Person In Our Care accounts, and institutional capital and store inventories.
  • Ensure adherence to all Wisconsin Statutes dealing with fiscal operations of the Institution.
  • Provide training, cross-training, evaluation, and work performance counseling to staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and budgeting procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
