As a Program Assistant - On-Call with OHS INTERIM MANAGEMENT, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head Start Centers in Blackford, Jay, and Randolph Counties.

We are looking for an individual who is 18 years of age or older and possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent. Some states may require additional certifications for kitchen aide duties.

About the Role

This part-time position involves working as part of a team to assist in various activities within the classroom, kitchen, and bus. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist classroom staff in all classroom activities and outdoor activities included in lesson plans.
  • Help supervise mealtime and encourage good nutrition and social skills among children.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly classroom environment.
  • Substitute for cooks as needed in the kitchen.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $11.95, paid vacation time, sick leave, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays, and tuition assistance to meet job requirements.

Schedule

This part-time position requires working 7:30a-4p, Monday-Friday (30 hours per week, 42 weeks per year).
