Position Overview: We are currently in search of a Senior Power Systems Engineer who is eager to learn, grow professionally, and contribute to our clients' success. This role offers the flexibility to work from various locations or remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in field data collection and investigations within industrial settings as needed for project work.
  • Provide expert engineering design support for electrical systems in industrial projects, focusing on medium (15 kV) and low voltage (600 VAC) power distribution.
  • Conduct comprehensive power systems analyses, including short circuit, load flow, overcurrent coordination, arc flash analysis, and power factor evaluations.
  • Design power distribution systems for machinery and processes, including electrical and grounding systems, and oversee their installation.
  • Lead the creation of project documentation, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control of design packages.
  • Guide design efforts, delegate tasks, and hold team members accountable.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients during design reviews.
  • Develop proposals outlining concepts, scope of work, deliverables, and estimated costs.
  • Willingness to travel for work up to 25% annually.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems or equivalent experience.
  • Over 10 years of experience in industrial electrical systems design and analysis.
  • At least 5 years of experience with medium and low voltage power distribution systems.
  • Professional Engineer license.
  • Proficient in electrical power analysis using tools such as SKM and Easypower.
  • Familiarity with National Electrical Code and related standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with facilities electrical systems including HVAC, lighting, and emergency power systems.
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.

Compensation: The base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $150,000, depending on experience, location, and qualifications. Additional bonuses may be available through our performance incentive programs.
