Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler/Tester B (1st Shift) to join our team at First Tek. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling and testing products to meet customer quality and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic assembly and testing functions using mechanical skills, hand and power tools, and mechanical/electronic tools and equipment.
  • Record test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.
  • Produce and inspect assemblies that conform to product specifications, meeting customer and industry standards.
  • Participate in lean initiatives by identifying and suggesting areas for improvement.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • High School or Equivalent
  • 0-1 year general mechanical work experience
  • Demonstrate product and process knowledge by applying it to newly learned techniques
  • Able to read and understand blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations and demonstrate effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills

  • Strong mechanical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Basic knowledge of lean principles and practices
