Job Description:

This role involves creating and submitting claims for medical services rendered to insurance companies and patients, obtaining supporting documentation, and reviewing denied claims.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve complex billing and coding issues to optimize revenue streams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce claim denials and improve cash flow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve account issues and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders to resolve inquiries and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in physician billing or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of HIPAA regulations and industry-standard billing practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others to achieve shared goals.

Compensation: Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
