Role Overview:

The Procurement and Inventory Coordinator will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary project team, tasked with supporting the procurement and inventory operations.

Key Competencies:

This position entails executing data entry, overseeing inventory transactions, and assisting in procurement, quality assurance documentation, and organizational duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in selecting suppliers that offer cost-effective products meeting specifications, quality benchmarks, delivery timelines, and customer service expectations.
  • Provide continuous support to project management and production teams.
  • Input purchase orders into the system, ensuring all information is accurate.
  • Conduct and document inventory transactions, including updating stock levels and processing necessary adjustments.
  • Oversee the receiving process by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and assessing the condition of received goods.
  • Document and process received items in the inventory system, ensuring precise record-keeping.
  • Monitor inventory consumption and alert management of any potential shortages or excesses.
  • Engage in regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Digitally scan and store purchase orders, receiving documents, and other pertinent paperwork.
  • Ensure all documents are scanned, digitally organized, easily retrievable, and securely stored in line with company policies.
  • Assist the quality assurance team by managing and compiling necessary documentation for QA processes.
  • Track inventory usage and report discrepancies to management for resolution.
  • Maintain organized workspaces, files, and records to promote efficient workflows and easy access to information.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Proficient computer skills, including expertise in MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication abilities—both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of contractual legal terms and requirements.
