Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team at On Target Staffing Corporate Recruiting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong background in procurement and administrative support.

The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing, vendor management, inventory control, and general administration. They will be responsible for providing essential support to the procurement department and office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Support:
    • Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials and supplies
    • Prepare and process purchase orders
  • Vendor Management:
    • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
    • Evaluate vendor performance and pricing
  • Inventory Control:
    • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse staff
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Manage incoming calls, emails, and other communications
    • Provide general administrative support to various departments
    • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and client files
    • Prepare shipping documents and commercial invoices
    • Coordinate facility maintenance and preventative maintenance
    • Organize catering for client meetings
    • Arrange travel and lodging for installation teams
    • Plan and coordinate company events and meetings

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional business or supply chain education preferred
  • Experience in purchasing and administrative roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore experience a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a small to medium-sized corporate environment
  • Standard business hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
