As an Assistant Project Manager - Plumbing & HVAC, you will oversee bid packages for sub-contractor involvement and correctness, plan and organize key field positions through regional department heads, and negotiate contracts with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate contracts with clients, maintain positive relationships, and resolve disputes
  • Oversee procurement logs and monitor progress of long lead items
  • Review subcontractor PCO's and prepare change order requests to owners
  • Represent the company in project meetings and assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts, including fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution and five (5) or more years of relevant commercial construction experience on projects exceeding $50 million
  • Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules

The salary range for this position is $155,000 to $185,000 depending on experience. We build extraordinary projects and need exceptional talent. Our notable projects include the Time Warner Building, Rockefeller Center, Lincoln Center, Yankee Stadium, Madison Square Garden, Seven World Trade Center, and Goldman Sachs' Lower Manhattan Headquarters.
