Responsibilities
  • Provide caring and dependable companionship to clients in their homes
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for clients based on dietary requirements
  • Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing and toileting
  • Transport clients to appointments and activities as needed
  • Implement a personalized plan of care that best meets the needs of each client
  • Collaborate with Home Helpers associates and clients' families to create compassionate solutions for unique needs
Requirements
  • Prior experience in home health care or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with systems such as ICU, Urgent care, and Cerner is advantageous
  • Knowledge of physiology and critical care practices is beneficial
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient service principles are a plus
  • Experience in dementia care/parkinson's care or nursing home settings is desirable
