Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to become a vital member of our Delivery team. This role is based in Boston and requires a commitment to in-office collaboration four days a week.

Role Importance
As a Solutions Architect at Builder, you will play a crucial role in designing and overseeing the technical framework of client projects developed within our Builder Studio platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing scalable and reliable customer projects while adhering to industry best practices and our technical standards.
  • Collaborating closely with Product Owners and Technical Project Managers to ensure optimal code development and architecture.

Key Responsibilities
Your duties will encompass:

  • Engaging with Sales and Product teams to understand customer requirements and assess feasibility.
  • Presenting tailored technical solutions to enterprise clients.
  • Documenting architecture and technical tasks during user story refinement.
  • Ensuring all technical deliverables meet quality standards, including code quality, test automation, and code handover.
  • Leading the resolution of technical challenges and serving as an expert troubleshooter throughout project delivery.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and championing innovation in automating aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with a diverse range of web, backend, or mobile technologies.
  • Expertise in at least one of the following languages within a cloud-based environment: React Native and/or React.
  • Experience in presenting technical solutions to clients.
  • A proven history of designing scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Experience leading development efforts across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience collaborating with offshore or outsourced developers across various time zones.
  • Familiarity with code review tools and practices to uphold best practices and ensure code quality.
  • Experience in creating documentation, unit tests, integration tests, security, and load tests.
  • A solid understanding of GitOps principles.

Preferred Skills
While not mandatory, the following skills are advantageous:

  • Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Comfort with open-source monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki, along with troubleshooting capabilities across these tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, and Digital Ocean.
  • Familiarity with Python.
