REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Computer Merchant, LTD. is in search of a contract Lead Business Intelligence Solutions Architect to architect, develop, and execute our organization’s BI strategy for a health data warehouse initiative. This project is expected to span approximately fifteen months and will involve a team of both temporary and permanent personnel tasked with reconstructing an existing data warehouse utilizing new ETL, Business Intelligence, and database technologies aimed at enhancing cost efficiency and technical performance.

This pivotal role will collaborate with Senior Management and Data Analysts to pinpoint business objectives and subsequently design and implement a BI solution that aligns with those objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To qualify for this role, candidates must exhibit specific expertise in:

  • Leading the design and deployment of semantic layers atop Snowflake and/or Postgres within an MS Azure framework.
  • Evaluating business needs and suggesting a suitable BI tool that meets the performance requirements for Data Analysts.
  • Overseeing a comprehensive BI solution implementation across the organization.
  • Providing consulting support to staff in the adoption and utilization of BI tools and technologies.
  • Diagnosing BI-related issues and offering assistance to BI users.
  • Engaging with Health Care data, preferably within the payer sector.
  • Utilizing cloud technologies, particularly MS Azure and Snowflake.
