Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Owens Corning. As a key member of our maintenance and reliability team, you will be responsible for driving equipment optimization and improving asset performance across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Reliability and Optimization
    • Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies to minimize equipment downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
    • Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) to identify and address underlying causes of equipment failures.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement condition-based maintenance (CBM) programs.
  • Asset Performance Improvement
    • Develop and implement asset performance metrics to measure and track equipment reliability and overall performance.
    • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop and implement plans to address identified opportunities and measure the impact of improvements.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Provide training and guidance to maintenance and operations teams on reliability and maintenance best practices.
    • Develop and implement a training program to ensure that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
    • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement a maintenance and reliability strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and reliability, with a focus on equipment optimization and asset performance improvement.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong understanding of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and condition-based maintenance (CBM) principles.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex equipment reliability issues.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
