Position Overview
As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to the construction and upkeep of non-energized powerlines, transmission systems, and substations.
Work Schedule:
  • Typical hours are from 6am to 4pm

Compensation:
  • Hourly wage ranges from $15.00 to $30.00

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will engage in outdoor activities, focusing on the assembly and maintenance of non-energized power structures. This includes:
  • Excavating holes for poles using specialized equipment
  • Pulling and installing wiring
  • Operating aerial bucket trucks
  • Stringing wire and installing conduits for substations
  • Excavating trenches and climbing poles for repairs or maintenance of electrical cables
  • Assisting the job foreman as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in using hand tools and small power tools
  • Experience in running cable and conduit
  • Adherence to safety protocols regarding electrical work
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions

Essential Requirements:
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • A minimum of 2 years in construction or electrical roles
  • Steel-toe boots and long sleeves are mandatory
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • CDL certification is advantageous but not necessary

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Capability to lift up to 100 pounds and climb
  • Outdoor work throughout the year
  • Job sites located in various areas
