Job Overview

Entegee is seeking a highly skilled Metrology Engineer to join our team of experts in custom automation projects. As a Metrology Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and improving inspection, measurement, and calibration methods to ensure the highest quality standards in our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Inspection Methods: Design and implement effective inspection methods, techniques, and measurement programs to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Provide Input on Product Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide input on product design and manufacturing processes based on measurement capabilities.
  • Establish Equipment Tolerances: Use statistical performance data to establish equipment tolerances and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Recommend Calibration Standards: Recommend calibration standards, equipment, and frequencies to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
  • Analyze Measurement Standards: Analyze measurement standards and processes using statistical methods to identify areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate New Methods: Evaluate new inspection, measurement, and calibration methods and procedures to ensure they meet Entegee's quality standards.
  • Update Existing Methods: Update existing inspection, measurement, and calibration methods and procedures to reflect changes in industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM Field: A bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field, such as engineering or physics.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with experience in measurement and calibration.
  • Understanding of Metrology Principles: A comprehensive understanding of scientific principles behind metrology, including measurement uncertainty and statistical analysis.
  • Industry Standards Knowledge: Working knowledge of industry standards, including ISO 17025, ISO 10012, ANSI Z540.1 & Z540.3, and ISO9001, AS9100, and ISO13485.
  • Measurement System Analysis: Experience with Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Microsoft Office and Computer Skills: Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills, with experience in data analysis and statistical software.
  • Minimum 3 Years Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in metrology, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Skills
  • Comprehensive Understanding of Statistical Analysis: A comprehensive understanding of statistical analysis for measurement processes, including data analysis and interpretation.
Pay Details

$35.00 to $40.00 per hour
