**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team at Cadence Education. As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a positive learning environment for our young students, fostering their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum in collaboration with the teaching team.
- Document and share with parents the important milestones in a child's day, ensuring open communication and transparency.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that promotes social behavior and expectations.
- Plan and execute daily schedules that balance activities, providing opportunities for quiet and active play, indoor and outdoor exploration, and fine and gross motor development.
- Model and encourage social behavior, respect, and empathy among children, while maintaining a high level of flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old.
- Meet all state preschool lead teacher requirements.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) or college degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or related field.
- Previous experience as a preschool lead teacher required.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills preferred.
