Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of preschool-aged children
  • Collaborate with parents and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Provide guidance and support to early childhood education staff
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education

Requirements

  • Early Childhood Education degree or relevant field
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
  • Strong understanding of child development principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • 2 hours of Active supervision training
  • 2 hours of Child Development training/Behavior Guidance
  • 1hr of SUIDS training/AHT training
  • 11 hours of continuing education in early childhood education
  • Knowledge of state licensing regulations
  • Passion for early childhood education and fostering a love for learning
