This role serves as the primary Quality Assurance Leader for the designated area or business unit. Key responsibilities encompass project evaluations prior to construction, providing technical support for quality-related challenges involving submissions and RFIs, overseeing regional quality management and adherence, offering technical guidance on project quality matters, and facilitating communication with project teams and contractors.
Compensation Range: $90,000 - $140,000/year

Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and evaluations for quality compliance on projects.
- Analyze and interpret contracts, scopes, and specifications.
- Review specifications prior to construction.
- Coordinate with General Contractors and Owners as necessary, and liaise with the Operations Manager for resource allocation.
- Assess pre-construction mix designs in partnership with the Corporate Quality Director, material experts, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards on projects.
- Oversee regional project quality adherence.
- Collaborate with project teams to devise solutions for quality-related issues.
- Support and guide quality professionals within the assigned region.
Required Competencies:
- Ability to deconstruct challenges into manageable parts, comprehend fundamental issues, simplify complex topics, and differentiate between crucial information and trivial data.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, producing precise and timely reports, delivering presentations, and demonstrating strong listening abilities.
- Capability to identify, integrate, and understand critical aspects of situations to evaluate the implications of various actions and focus on specific issues.
- Ability to lead through transitions and challenges, make tough decisions when necessary, seek consensus when appropriate, and motivate and support team members.

- Establish project objectives, timelines, and processes, define roles and responsibilities, secure project resources, manage project organization, track progress, and oversee multiple projects.

Qualifications and Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of relevant codes (ACI, PCI, TCA).
- Minimum of five years of experience in concrete construction.
- Strong grasp of construction principles and practices.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of concrete manufacturing, testing, and installation techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a flexible and adaptive approach when working with diverse individuals.
- Energetic and driven, with a strong sense of urgency.
- A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Highly motivated and self-directed, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
- Experience in leading successful project teams, including staff development and managing relationships with external entities.
- Physical capability to navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and using multi-floor scaffolding.
