Position Overview:

As an integral part of our manufacturing team at Coating, Inc., the Electronics Assembly Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of soldering standards and mechanical specifications.


Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of solder joints and mechanical components to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Identifying and documenting any defects or irregularities in the assembly process.
  • Performing mechanical inspections to verify the integrity of finished products.
  • Executing tasks such as soldering, hardware installation, and post-coating under close supervision.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring all materials and equipment are in proper condition.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction plans.
  • Completing necessary training and acquiring relevant certifications.
  • Reporting on work progress and updates to supervisors.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED, with at least one year of relevant experience; or three years of experience in lieu of a diploma.
  • Eligibility to obtain necessary export authorizations.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex assembly instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills for navigating software and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Certification in Quality Control and Hardware Interface.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
