Job Title: Volunteer Specialist Lead

Join EarthCorps, a Seattle-based nonprofit organization dedicated to developing leaders for community and environmental restoration. As a Volunteer Specialist Lead, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing volunteer programs, community engagement events, and habitat restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate volunteer teams in restoration projects, ensuring quality results, safety, and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage diverse communities and promote EarthCorps volunteer opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Community and Volunteer Manager to plan and execute volunteer events, including logistics, marketing, and communication.
  • Provide training and support to volunteers, promoting leadership development and teamwork.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of volunteer activities, events, and projects.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing teams and coordinating events.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Passion for environmental restoration, community engagement, and leadership development.
  • Valid driver's license and comfort driving 12-passenger vans and large trucks.
