Job Overview

Position: Educational Support Specialist

ProCare Therapy is collaborating with a local educational institution to recruit dedicated Special Education Support Specialists. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs.

Employment Type: Part-time, Contract

Compensation: $22 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and document student information as instructed by the Behavior Supervisor or Special Education Instructor.
  • Exhibit a composed, adaptable, and professional attitude while interacting with students, supervisors, and peers.
  • Demonstrate consistent attendance and dependability.
  • Support specialists in facilitating school readiness activities, pre-academic exercises, and fostering social interactions during recess and group sessions.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in working with or caring for children with special needs.
  • Preferably some background in an educational environment.
