We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Processing Specialist to join our team at Shamrock Foods Company. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of meat products.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate and maintain automated machinery, including loading materials, package changeovers, and basic maintenance activities.
- Inventory Management: Read production labels, customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, repacked, disposed of, or distributed.
- Material Handling: Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas/pre-assigned dock doors.
- Sorting and Placement: Sort and place materials or items on carts, pallets, shelves, racks, or in bins or boxes according to predetermined sequences to prevent damage and expedite loading and put-away procedures.
- Documentation and Labeling: Mark materials with identifying information and maintain accurate records of inventory and production.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: 3 months of warehouse-related experience preferred.
- Skills: Mechanical maintenance skills preferred, with ability to learn and perform basic maintenance activities. Electrical maintenance skills preferred, with ability to learn and perform basic maintenance activities.
- Physical Demands: Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
