Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Social Studies Teacher to join our team at International Leadership of Texas. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for providing students with engaging and challenging learning experiences that foster academic growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the district's curriculum program and meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Plan and deliver instruction that reflects an understanding of learning styles and needs, and utilizes technology to enhance student engagement.
  • Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through formal and informal testing, and use results to inform instruction.
  • Assume responsibility for extracurricular activities and sponsor outside activities approved by the campus principal.
  • Manage student behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and student handbook.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and a valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned.
  • Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience: One-year student teaching or approved internship preferred.
