The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, a division of AAR, is based in Rockledge, FL, and provides premier expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and innovative team player to join our vibrant HR team. This role involves close collaboration with departmental leaders and designated hiring personnel to identify, pre-screen, and present qualified candidates for various positions, both locally and internationally. You will embody AAR's core values and ensure compliance with company policies, affirmative action, and other recruitment objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a mix of traditional and digital recruiting techniques to develop diverse candidate pools, including cold calling, sourcing through AAR's applicant tracking system, job boards, social media, online advertisements, and networking.
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition colleagues and hiring managers to efficiently fill a range of positions.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive customer service approach through effective communication and collaboration within the HR department and across other program departments.
  • Encourage participation in the internal employee referral program.
  • Accurately track recruiting activities and generate necessary reports in a timely manner.
  • Participate in job fairs, networking events, and diversity initiatives to attract and recruit talent.
  • Successfully recruit in a fast-paced, competitive environment while adhering to strict deadlines and compliance with personnel policies and employment laws.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution; or 8 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience. A minimum of 5 years of progressive recruiting experience is required.
  • Ability to manage high-volume recruitment effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on achieving results.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent customer service abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
  • Demonstrates sound discretion and judgment in candidate recruitment, understanding the impact of recruitment strategies on company objectives.
  • Recent experience with recruiting and utilizing an applicant tracking system is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Position requires a U.S. Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or active DoD Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Spanish (L2 or higher).
  • Experience in technical recruiting.
