At CommonSpirit Health, we're committed to creating healthier, stronger communities. As a Perinatal Safety Specialist RN, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality care for pregnant women and their families.
Responsibilities:- Implement and promote perinatal patient safety and quality of care initiatives and programs.
- Collaborate with Maternal Child Health teams to ensure adherence to national clinical standards and principles.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and facilitate interdisciplinary communication and education.
- Develop and implement quality improvement processes to enhance patient safety and care.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Masters degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a clinician in Women's Services.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Women and Infants Perinatal Safety.
- Experience with quality improvement and project management techniques.
- Current RN License in applicable State.
- Certification in one of the following: CCRN-NEO, C-EFM, RN-BC MCN, RN-BC-PERI, RNC [OB, GYN, NEONATAL], RNC-LRN, RNC-MNN, RNC-NIC, RNC-OB.
- BLS.
- NRP within 90 days.
