The Global Impact Investing Network is looking for a dedicated Communications Analyst to enhance our organizational communications, promoting our initiatives to effectively support our strategic goals and fulfill our mission. The primary role of the Communications Analyst is to keep our stakeholders engaged and informed about our impactful work.

This position involves proactive content creation and management of various communication platforms, including the organization's website, social media channels, and email outreach. It is an excellent opportunity for an individual eager to take charge of daily communications tasks and drive content development for a prominent impact investing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Development and Management:

  1. Collaborate with teams and partners to consistently generate relevant, original, and high-quality content that effectively narrates the story of the Global Impact Investing Network in an engaging and precise manner, customized for each distribution channel;
  2. Draft copy for organizational materials and coordinate with external PR agencies, designers, videographers, and web developers to produce both digital and print assets;
  3. Organize and maintain digital resources such as photo and video libraries, presentation templates, and infographics.

Digital Media Management:

  1. Oversee our digital media resources and platforms to expand our audience, enhance reach, and boost digital engagement in alignment with our strategic objectives. This includes primary oversight of the website, email communications, blog, and social media channels;
  2. Evaluate and analyze performance metrics to determine ROI based on key performance indicators (KPIs). Assess performance against KPIs and convert qualitative data into actionable recommendations for refining communication strategies.

Public Relations Support:

  1. Assist in executing the public relations strategy by working closely with our external PR agency;
  2. Monitor media coverage and highlight relevant mentions in our external communications as appropriate;
  3. Contribute to the creation and editing of press releases.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate the events calendar and provide assistance for staff attending events;
  2. Manage the general communications inbox;
  3. Supervise interns as necessary.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and editing capabilities, familiarity with both traditional and digital media, basic design skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across multiple teams and projects. They should be capable of producing high-quality content efficiently.

  1. Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and a results-driven mindset;
  2. Proficient editing and writing abilities;
  3. Experience or interest in impact investing;
  4. Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret data and derive meaningful insights;
  5. Experience in creating, sourcing, and managing content development and publication;
  6. Proficiency in utilizing communication tools and platforms, including LinkedIn and news aggregation tools; working knowledge of SEO principles, including keyword research and Google Analytics.
