Key Responsibilities:- Speechcrafting and Coordination: Develop, prepare, and edit speeches for senior executives, ensuring consistency with organizational standards and tailoring materials to specific audiences.
- Leadership Coaching: Advise and coach leadership on presenting and delivering speeches to ensure effectiveness and engagement.
- Research and Accuracy: Conduct research to ensure accuracy and relevance of speech content, and proofread and edit content for clarity, readability, and accessibility.
- Mentorship and Training: Provide mentorship and training to junior staff on effective speech writing and editing techniques.
- Communication Support: Develop, prepare, produce, coordinate, and edit various communication materials, with a strong emphasis on speech writing.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 18+ years of experience, a Master's and 10+ years of experience, or no degree and 24 years of experience in Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
- Clearance: TS-SCI w/Poly level clearance.
- Skills and Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in drafting, editing, and delivering speeches or scripts for various audiences and occasions; proficiency in utilizing tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud Suite; strong ability to convey complex information in a clear and simple manner to diverse audiences; proven track record of mentoring and training others in effective speech writing and presentation techniques.
