The Global Impact Investing Network is in search of a dedicated Communications Analyst to enhance our organizational communications, effectively disseminating and advocating for our initiatives to support our strategic goals and fulfill our mission. The primary function of the Communications Analyst is to engage and inform our stakeholders about our impactful work.

This position entails proactive content creation and management of external communication platforms, including the organization's website, social media channels, and email outreach. This role is perfect for an individual eager to take charge of daily communications activities and drive content development for a prominent impact investing organization with a diverse portfolio of offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Development and Management:

  1. Collaborate independently and with various teams and partners to consistently generate relevant, original, and high-quality content that effectively narrates the organization's story in an engaging and precise manner, tailored to specific distribution channels;
  2. Draft copy for organizational materials and coordinate with external PR agencies, designers, videographers, web developers, and other professionals to produce both digital and print resources;
  3. Organize and maintain digital assets, including photo and video collections, presentation templates, infographics, and more.

Digital Media Management:

  1. Oversee our digital media assets and platforms to expand our audience, enhance reach, and boost digital engagement in alignment with our strategic objectives. This includes primary responsibility for the website, email communications, blog, and social media (X, LinkedIn);
  2. Evaluate and analyze performance metrics to determine ROI based on key performance indicators (KPIs). Assess performance against KPIs and convert qualitative data into actionable insights and recommendations for refining communication strategies;

Public Relations Support:

  1. Assist in executing the organization's public relations strategy in collaboration with our external PR agency;
  2. Monitor media coverage and highlight relevant mentions through our external communications as appropriate;
  3. Contribute to the creation and editing of press releases.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the events calendar and provide support for staff attending events;
  2. Oversee the general communications inbox;
  3. Supervise interns as necessary.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing and editing abilities, proficiency in both traditional and digital media, basic design skills, and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively across multiple teams and projects. They should be capable of producing high-quality content efficiently.

  1. Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and a results-driven mindset;
  2. Strong editing and writing capabilities;
  3. Interest or experience in impact investing;
  4. Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive meaningful insights;
  5. Experience in content creation, sourcing, and management;
  6. Proficient in communication tools and platforms, including LinkedIn and news aggregators; familiar with SEO principles, including keyword research and Google Analytics.
